The Rotary Club of York North shared the exciting results of this year’s annual mums sale, a beloved fall fundraiser that has become a York North Club tradition. Partnering once again with Trail Nurseries, the club purchases mums at wholesale and sells them at retail, raising funds to support community projects. “This has been our best year yet,” Project Manager Kim March reported proudly. The club sold an impressive 625 mums, generating over $2,300 in profit. Club members’ enthusiasm and teamwork were on full display, with nearly every Rotarian participating—some buying flowers for their own homes, others selling to friends and neighbors. “We had one member who sold two and another who sold 110,” Kim said with a smile, underscoring the spirit of engagement that makes this fundraiser such a success. The mums sale continues to be a shining example of how the York North Rotary combines service, fellowship, and creativity to make a positive impact in the community.
