- This week was full of examples of what happens when Rotarians and clubs connect, collaborate, and share their strengths.

It’s been another great week connecting with Rotarians across District 7390! This week, I had the opportunity to visit the Rotary Clubs of Millersburg and York. Thank you to both clubs for the warm welcome and for sharing more about the work
you’re doing in your communities.
Another highlight this past week was seeing collaboration between our clubs in action. I joined Mechanicsburg North and our District Passport Club for a Meet & Greet that brought Rotarians together for fellowship and connection and, as an added bonus, I
collected some books!
Later in the week, the Rotary Clubs of Palmyra, Northern Lebanon, and Lebanon partnered to host a golf tournament — three clubs bringing their people, resources, and relationships together for one successful event.
These experiences got me thinking:
What else could we accomplish if we looked beyond the boundaries of our own clubs more often? Collaboration doesn’t have to mean creating a huge new project. Invite a neighboring club to your social. Partner on a service project or fundraiser. Share an event. Or simply
reach out and ask, “What could we do together?”
We have 38 clubs across seven counties, each with different strengths, ideas, connections, and traditions. Imagine what becomes possible when we start connecting those dots. So, my challenge this week is simple: look beyond your club. Find one opportunity to
connect, collaborate, or share an idea with another Rotary club.
And speaking of opportunities to come together, save these dates:
- October 10 — Rotary Leadership Institute at Central Penn College.
- November 7 — District 7390 Foundation Dinner.
And November 22 — our Early Literacy Book Drive Celebration in Harrisburg. There are lots of opportunities ahead to learn, celebrate, serve, and connect with Rotarians from across our District.
