Thousands of York County families rely on SNAP benefits to feed their loved ones. With those benefits paused due to the federal budget impasse, the impact is immediate and devastating. The York Rotary Foundation (YRF) Board of Directors has voted to address this urgent need with a donation of $25,000 to the Nourish Now: Food Relief Fund and $10,000 to the York County Food Bank.
“We recognize the urgency of this moment and, as “People of Action” we cannot stand by while our neighbors go hungry.” said Rotary Club of York President Wilda Reahm.
