Hello District 7390 Rotarians! I hope you’ve had a wonderful week and are enjoying the start of another Rotary year – I know I’m excited to continue this journey with all of you as we work together to Create Lasting Impact!
This week, I’d like to celebrate several clubs that are reaching significant milestone anniversaries during this 2026-27 Rotary year:
- 20 years of service, Rotary Club of Susquehanna Township
- 30 years of service, Rotary Club of Lancaster Sunrise
- 35 years of service, Rotary Club of York North
- 40 years of service - Rotary Club of Eastern York County, Rotary Club of Lancaster South, Rotary Club of York East
- 45 years of service, Rotary Club of Southern York County
- 55 years of service, Rotary Club of Lancaster Hempfield
- 85 years of Service Above Self - Rotary Club of Denver-Ephrata Area, Rotary Club of Manheim
Anniversaries are so much more than just a number. They represent decades of members choosing to show up, serve their neighbors, build friendships, and invest in their communities. Every project, every meeting, every new member invited has contributed to a legacy that continues today.
Congratulations to each of these clubs and thank you for the impact you’ve made and continue to make; I look forward to celebrating with you this year!
As I begin preparing for club visits, one thought keeps circling back to me: many of us found Rotary because someone took the time to invite us. I think about all the opportunities I could have been part of earlier in life, Interact in high school, Rotaract in college, Rotary as a young professional. I didn’t know those opportunities existed. Creating lasting impact this year isn’t only about the incredible service projects we complete. It’s also about the invitations we extend. As the year continues, think to yourself: Who could benefit from experiencing my Rotary club this year?
