STOP THE BLEED
Course Description: STOP THE BLEED® is a course sponsored by the American College of Surgeons where you’ll three techniques to help stop life threatening bleeding. These techniques will empower you to assist in an emergency and potentially save a life.
Faculty: Your teachers will be physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers from Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center, Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center, and Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health.
Participants: Anyone who is old enough to understand what the course teaches and is interested in saving a life. So far the course has been taught to over one million students, teachers, and community groups. Learn more at: Training | Stop The Bleed
Date: Saturday, April 1, 2023. Two times will be offered to take this 90-minute course: 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM. Please only sign up for one course.
