York-North recently congratulated 2024-2025 Past President Melissa Markey and Foundation Chair Ed Wagman for the awards York-North won at November’s Foundation Dinner.
York-North won for having 100% Foundation Giving. Every single dues-paying member of York-North contributed at least $25 to the Rotary Foundation, and the club achieved an average contribution of $100 per capita or more to any Rotary Foundation giving designation.
York-North also won an Every Rotarian Every Year award because every dues-paying member contributed at least $25 to the Annual Fund, and the club achieved an Annual Fund per-capita giving at least $100.
York North, for the second year in a row, won the award for Best Large Club in the district. York-North had to show excellence in membership, Rotary Foundation giving, participation in youth services, club services, public image, leadership, and district participation.
