Dictionary presentations filled the week of November. 6-9 for the Rotary Club of the West Shore. At Hillside Elementary School, New Cumberland, on November 9, Rotarians Sheldon Munn, Dave Witmer, Graeme Goodsir, and David Hiebert were joined by the Munn and Witmer spouses. Many combinations of supporters appear like magic at the various schools. But a last minute change in schedule reduced the crowd of witnesses to one--Bernie Dugan and George Connolly at the first presentation of the week--9 AM Monday morning at Newberry Elementary. 1,200 third grade students in the West Shore District got their own dictionaries through this literacy program.
