District Goals 2017-18
Support and Strengthen Clubs
  1. 100% of clubs apply for 2017/18 Rotary Presidential & Theme Citation.
  2. Each club nets one new member under the age of 40.
  3. Each club nets one new female member.
  4. Increased attendance at Rotary Leadership Institute from previous year.
  5. Increased attendance at other key District Events:
  • Rotary Foundation Dinner.
  • Membership, Foundation and other training seminars.
  • District Training Assembly.
  • District Conference.
  • Teacher Impact awards.
Focus and Increase Humanitarian Services
  1. Each club participates in district-wide Day of Service on April 21, 2018.
  2. Each club participates in district-wide fundraiser for Polio Plus on World Polio Day October 24, 2017.
  3. One NEW club participates in a Club Foundation Grant.
  4. One NEW club participates in a Global Grant.
  5. Increase giving to The Rotary Foundation by 43 NEW gifts: one new gift per club on average.
  6. 100% of clubs enter total dollar amount and total number of hours dedicated toward humanitarian service in Rotary Club Central.
Enhance Public Image and Awareness
  1. Launch District 7390 Twitter account and engage with individuals and community organizations.
  2. Increase likes on District 7390 Facebook page to a total of 1000.
  3. Create and promote District 7390 informational video.
  4. Streamline district social media interactions and connections.
  5. Streamline internal communication between district and clubs.
District Administration
  1. Double the participation of women in district leadership through the strategic planning initiative, Polio Plus fundraiser, and a special 2017/18 District Governor’s Advisory Committee.
  2. Update District 7390 Strategic Plan:
  • Survey all members for input.
  • Convene ad-hoc committee to review input and draft outline.
  • Present draft strategic plan to district leadership, BOC by December 2017.
  • Finalize strategic plan and present to all members at 2018 District Conference.
  1. Support all working district committees and programs with resources and leadership.  Streamline district Organizational Chart. Implement new performance review and offer support and development to District Executive Secretary.
