Dear Rotarians: Just hit 20 clubs visited – halfway through! It’s been fun, heartwarming, and an adventure I’m glad to be on. Two of the drives have been so beautiful. Getting to the Denver-Ephrata and Perry County clubs took me through lovely tree canopies and the eye-catching colors that PA offers in the fall. The service projects that clubs have presented are amazing. The fellowship and compassion I see in my home club is repeating across our seven counties. The impact that the clubs are having continually create ripples that turn into waves of positive change in our area. Rotary is truly a force for good. Based on challenges I’m hearing from the clubs, I’ll be working with Fred Gellert, PDG and our District Learning Chair, to continue to bring helpful information to club presidents during our monthly meetings. Last weeks presentation of Club Creation to help clubs clarify their vision and mission, recruit new members and spread the word of Rotary was a great starting point for clubs that are looking to rejuvenate their members and look at ways to continue to “Unite for Good”, this year’s theme. A link to the recording of that meeting has been sent to Presidents and Membership Chairs and is posted on the District website. If there is anything you need help with, question about Rotary, Zone or what resources you can tap into, please don’t hesitate to reach out. If you don’t hear back from me within one day, ping me again (lots of emails, not ignoring you, just catching up!). DG Mary “MB” mbtexaspa@gmail.com
