The U.S. is ending grant funding for international aid, including Polio immunization. As Rotarians, we must help raise even more money this year for Polio Plus.
For every ticket sold through this event, the Phillies will donate almost 50% of the Ticket Price, with 100% going to the Rotary Foundation. Each participating Club will recieve RI Foundation credits for the money raised from their ticket sales. Also, the Gates Foundation will match $2 for every $1 raised. Over the last few years, Strike-Out Hunger has raised enough money for the innoculation of around 1.5 million children.
We ask everyone attending the game to bring non-perishable food and deposit it in the drums by the ball park entrance. The food will be distributed to local food banks.

You will get the best seats available, so order early. Next click on the seats you want from the highlighted seats available and click CONTINUE. • Then click ADD TO CART. • If you don’t have a PASSWORD, click SIGN UP then click the LOG IN button. If you don’t have an account, you can create one now. • Enter your Credit or Debit Card information and click PAY NOW. All your ordered tickets will be sent to your email address. You can forward individual tickets to others.
It's time for our annual Army War College International Fellows luncheon - and you're invited!
Every year we host almost 80 International Fellows from the Army War College for a special luncheon. It's our honor to welcome them to our area and make them feel at home while they're here. This is an event that truly promotes peace by bringing together so many military officers from around the world to get to know their counterparts and develop relationships that might someday deescalate tensions when it's needed most.
The Rotary Club of Southern York County placed a plaque at the American Holly they planted at the Loganville (York/Troop J) Barracks to honor the memory of fallen Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Jacques (Jay) F. Rougeau, Jr. The American Holly was donated by Sue Hunter of Heartwood Nursery, Inc. Special honor was given to Trooper Rougeau, Jr. and his family in 2024 during the Club's 7th Annual Flags for Heroes Ceremony.

The York North Rotary Club celebrated a year of service and leadership as outgoing President Melissa Markey officially passed the gavel to incoming President Beth Brennan. The changing of the guard at York North marked a moment of reflection, recognition, and renewed commitment to Rotary's motto: Service Above Self. Melissa was applauded for her dedicated leadership throughout the 2024–2025 Rotary year. Gary Lauer thanked Melissa for an outstanding Presidency, emphasizing Melissa’s positive and infectious servant leadership style. Melissa lead with a “VELVET GLOVE” not an iron fist. She was soft and tactful, always outwardly polite and friendly and never lost her cool. During her year our club added five new members. We did18 community service activities throughout the year and sponsored an exchange student. We applied and received a grant that supported a local nonprofit. The amount of work we did under Melissa’s leadership in the community is just unmeasurable. Under Melissa’s Leadership we were awarded the Best Large Club of District 7390.
Melissa commented “one of the things that everyone said was like, we'll be here to help you, and that couldn't have been more true. So I just truly appreciate people diving in to set up, if there was something wrong or something missing. I just really appreciate all the help and support and positive attitudes from everyone. So just thank you to everyone, and I'm looking forward to coming and eating breakfast. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”
In recognition of always effectively and efficiently managing the meeting starting and ending times the Club presented Melissa with the “Melissa’s Mallet.”
The Rotary Club of York will host and sponsor the 76th RMB networking event in Rotary District 7390 history and the third event of the 2025 RMB season. The event will take place on Wednesday, July 30 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Marketview Arts, 37 W Philadelphia Street, York, PA. The event will be FREE. There will be light hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer, soft drinks and water available for attendees.
