The Rotary Club of Palmyra cordially invites you to attend the Annual Rotary Foundation Dinner on Saturday, November 15, 2025. The event will be held at Milton Hershey School, Purcell Friendship Hall (109 McCorkel Road, Hershey). Join us as we celebrate the outstanding work of the Rotary Foundation. Foundation awards from the 2024–2025 Rotary year will be presented, and we will hear inspiring stories highlighting the impact Rotary is making around the world. Cost is $70 per person. The Rotary Club of Northern Lebanon County dedicated the last of three Peace Poles on Saturday, October 25 at the Jonestown Community Park. The other Peace Poles were placed at the Bethel Township Park and the Northern Lebanon Elementary School. A District Grant was used to purchase the Peace Poles.
The Rotarians involved were President Elaine Ludwig, DGE Rebecca Zalit, Ed Anspach and Deb Shuey. Mary Joe Quaroli and Scouting America Leader Andy Bomberger also participated.
The Past District Governors and current District Leadership in D7390 recently gathered for a fun evening of fellowship! PDG Paul Thompson and Maria hosted the event at the Boomerang Bar & Grill in New Cumberland. Maria read the following to the attendees - An Ode to PDGs
"Over 20 years ago, we met a wise Rotarian in Africa, who asked if we knew the tow things that Rotarians, and Exchange Students, should be? The answer was simply: interested and interesting! So, when I found out that Paul was going to be our next DC - as it was announced at our Club's weekly luncheon - I was interested…if for no other reason than, I would not have to feed him for an entire year!
Along the same theme - of interested and interesting - I recently had the pleasure of writing 17 PDG eulogies for our Zone Institute, I can attest that some of the great qualities shared amount all PDGs are your: brilliance, talents, academic excellence - in many cases your athleticism, as hardworking, successful business and community leaders who are exceedingly unique and magnanimous, for which we all give our heartfelt, THANKS!
I would like to share a rather prophetic quote fond on the webpage of the Rotary Club of Central NY, Colonie-Guiderland that perhaps should be more wide disseminated: Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world…Rotarians don't have that problem!
Thank you again for sharing your time, talents, and hopefully good humor, through thick and thin, good meals and bad, through sunrises and sunsets, and especially for the time you gave your spouses to do their own work, every once in a while!

It was the perfect fall morning to complete their semiannual road cleanup service project! The Lancaster Hempfield Rotary Club has been helping to keep litter, plastic and other road debris out of our waterways by picking up litter along a 2-mile stretch of Harrisburg Pike. Their efforts picked up 6 large bags of litter - and one large mattress!! Way to go Rotarians! A special thanks to Rotarian Dave Fuchs who has coordinated this effort for our Club - thank you Dave!!
