The Rotary Club of York will host and sponsor the 76th RMB networking event in Rotary District 7390 history and the third event of the 2025 RMB season. The event will take place on Wednesday, July 30 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Marketview Arts, 37 W Philadelphia Street, York, PA. The event will be FREE. There will be light hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer, soft drinks and water available for attendees.
This will be another in a longstanding series of great business networking opportunities for both profit and non-profit organizations. Do not miss it. Also, please consider bringing potential Rotarian guests, Rotaractors, and Family of Rotary.

Tour the museum's Carlisle Indian School Exhibit at 3 pm, the ceremony will be at 4 pm.
June 28th also happens to be the second day of Carlisle's Annual Summerfair. You are invited to start off your day in Carlisle with the Craft Show on the Dickinson Campus from 9 am to 3 pm or one of the other seven activities for that day. Susquehannock High School Senior Vicky Chen and Kennard-Dale High School Senior Kyleigh Snyder each were recipients of $1500 Scholarships from the Rotary Club of Southern York County Scholarship Fund of the York County Community Foundation. Additionally, Susquehannock High School Senior Blake Barshinger and Kennard-Dale High School Senior Tristen Fontz each were recipients of $2000 George J. Lavery Memorial Scholarships established by the Lavery Family and the Rotary Club.
Southern Middle Students Ariana Poole (Grade 7) and Ava O’Connor (Grade 8) and South Eastern Middle School Students Malia Hirji-Walji (Grade 7) and Morgan Miller (Grade 8) were awarded Spring Students of the Semester by Rotarians Dr. Leonard Reppert (Southern York County School District Assistant Superintendent) and Dr. Robert Bryson (Southern York County School District Superintendent), Dr. Melissa Bell (Southern Middle School Principal), Doug Bryant (South Eastern Middle School Principal), Rotarian Dr. Nathan Van Deusen (South Eastern School District Superintendent), Dr. Greg Anderson (South Eastern School District Assistant Superintendent), and the Rotary Club.
The York East Rotary Club announced the recipients of its annual grant awards totaling $7,500 at its recent ceremony, continuing its tradition of supporting critical community programs. This year's beneficiaries included Glen Hope Farms, Pappus House, Friends and Neighbors, and Catholic Harvest Food Pantry, with each organization expressing their gratitude and outlining plans for utilizing the funds to further their important missions. During the award ceremony, representatives from the selected organizations spoke passionately about how the Rotary Club’s generosity would be used to benefit veterans and advance health education within the community.
Glen Hope Care Farm was granted a portion with a district match of the funds to help construct a learning center. The learning center will be used for activities including horticulture, animal husbandry, agricultural classes and special events
Catholic Harvest Food Pantry, an organization committed to providing food to those in need in York County. This initiative will be used to purchase a new refrigerator for overflow product.
Pappus House, a community organization providing round the clock care exclusively to people in their last months of life. The funds will be used for program improvement.
Friends and Neighbors, known for its work with homeless, received a portion of the grant to maintain its shelter services. These funds will help provide services and housing for those facing homelessness, with the ultimate goal of helping them find permanent housing
Speaking at the ceremony, the president, Greg Kern, shared the importance of continuing the club’s mission of "service above self" and the pivotal role that these grants play in making a lasting impact on the community.
