Water & Sanitation

THANK YOU

for visiting this page. The purpose of this page is to provide a starting point for Rotarians who would like to learn more about water-related issues in the world today and to build a library for Rotarians to utilize in getting connected with resources to utilize when beginning to work on Water Projects.

As Rotarians, we know the importance of this work.  The basis of good health is access to clean, safe drinking water.  For most of the world, clean water is medicine.  Rotary Clubs of all sizes can get involved in a water project, but developing a project takes planning.  By uniting several clubs together and/or partnering with a reputable organization, a single Rotary Club can make a bigger impact.  When getting involved, look for projects that are sustainable.  The most important thing to remember is that the project doesn’t belong to the Rotary Club or District – it belongs to the people it serves.

Thank you again for visiting this page.  Thank you for your interest in making a difference in the world.
